Later, seeing them struggling against the wind, He comes to them walking on the sea. The waters that symbolize chaos and death now obey Him. This is another epiphany: Jesus reveals He is divine, the Lord of creation who commands the waves. The disciples\u2019 hearts are hardened, yet in terror they cry out, and He says, \u201cTake courage, it is I; do not be afraid.\u201d \u201cIt is I\u201d &#8211; in Greek, ego eimi, the divine name God revealed to Moses.
