St. Agnes, a young girl of twelve or thirteen, faced the might of Rome with unyielding faith. Choosing Christ as her only Spouse, she defended her purity and belief, even unto martyrdom. Today, in a world that often mocks chastity, exploits vulnerability, and pressures conformity, Agnes reminds us that true strength lies in fidelity to God. Her courage as a “lamb” of innocence calls us to stand firm in virtue, witness boldly to truth, and entrust our lives wholly to the Bridegroom who awaits us. May we imitate her constancy.
