Dear friends, In this radiant Christmas season, John the Baptist teaches us true vocation. When questioned, he humbly replies: “I am the voice crying in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the Lord.” Like John, we who are catechists are not the Light, but voices sent to prepare hearts. In homes, classrooms, and parishes, we point to Christ already present among us. So let us joyfully embrace our calling: to announce the Incarnate Word, make His paths straight in young souls, and decrease so that He may increase.
